IBEC supports export of the Czech Republic
International Bank for Economic Co-operation has provided funds to finance the transaction for the supply of energy equipment from the Czech Republic to the Republic of Belarus. In particular, targeted trade loan totaling about EUR 1 million were provided for a period of up to 6 months to the buyer's bank – one of the largest and most stable IBEC partners among the financial institutions of the Republic of Belarus.
The contract for the purchase of fuel pumps was signed between the largest industry leaders and will be implemented within six months. The buyer is OJSC Minsk Motor Plant Holding Management Company OJSC – the largest enterprise in the field of manufacturing equipment for the automotive industry; the supplier is one of the world's largest manufacturers of fuel systems for diesel engines and one of the oldest European companies in this sector.
Services provided by IBEC in trade finance operations are attracting an increasing number of customers from various sectors of the economy and in wide territorial spaces. IBEC is actively developing its business in Central and Eastern Europe, ensuring integration both within the bank's member countries and with customers from related countries. The growth in the number of customers from the Czech Republic meets the objectives of the IBEC country strategy.
